Teams 전사 팀 구성원 수 10,000명 까지 확대

Teams 의 팀 은 가상의 팀을 구성하여 사용하는 기능으로 주로 프로젝트, TFT, 부서, 협업구성 단위로 생성하여 해당 구성원을 가입시켜서 사용하는 기능입니다. 

이러한 팀은 Org-wide(조직 전체 팀) 라고 하는 조직의 전체인원이 포함되는 팀을 생성하여 새로 입사하는 직원들은 자동으로 가입되게 하는 것도 가능한데요, 전사게시판과 같이 활용할 수 있는 공간을 만들기 위해 사용하는 유형이라고 보시면 됩니다. (물론 기본적인 게시판보다 팀 에서 제공되는 다양한 기능들을 사용할 수 있는 장점이 있습니다.)

관련하여 아래 최근 MS 에서 공지한 내용을 보면 이러한 Org-wide 팀 구성원 수를 11월 중순까지 10,000 명으로 확대한다는 방침입니다. 

Org-wide 팀을 사용하고 싶었는데 구성원 제약사항으로 포기했던 기업에서는 활용을 다시 고려해 볼 수 있을 것 같습니다. 

(다만 제가 소속된 조직에서는 원하는 기능은 아닙니다 ...)

We are pleased to increase the limit for org-wide teams in Microsoft Teams from 5,000 to 10,000 members.
Note: org-wide teams aren't yet available for Teams for Education.This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 68692.

When this will happen
We will begin rollout in early November and expect to be complete by mid-November.

How this will affect your organization
For organizations with 10,000 or fewer users, global admins will be able to easily create a public team that includes every user in the organization. Microsoft Teams will use Active Directory to keep membership current.The limit of five org-wide teams per tenant is unchanged.

What you need to do to prepare
After this rolls out to your tenant, if you don't see the org-wide option when creating a team and you're a global admin, you might have reached the five org-wide team limit or your organization might have more than the new size limit of 10,000 members.Learn more about creating an org-wide team in Microsoft Teams.
